Terms
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms cover using groci.sg and subscribing to Groci Plus. Groci is run from Singapore. By using the site you agree to them, and to how we handle your data as set out in Privacy.
Using Groci
Building a basket is free, with or without an account. Groci gives you a plan to shop from; a few things are worth knowing about it:
- Prices come from the supermarkets' own online prices, refreshed daily. Shelf prices and stock can differ, so check them before you buy.
- Nutrition figures come from public food databases and are estimates.
- Groci is a planning tool, not medical or dietary advice. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or follow a diet for medical reasons, check your targets with a doctor or dietitian.
Please use Groci for your own planning. Don't copy its data in bulk, overload it, or try to get around its limits or sign-in.
Your account
Signing in is optional and uses your Google account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and you can delete it anytime from the Account page.
Groci Plus
Groci Plus is a subscription at S$5.90 a month or S$49.00 a year, in Singapore dollars. What it includes is shown on the Plus page. Stripe handles the payment, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Free trial. Every new account gets 14 days of Plus, with no card. If you subscribe during the trial, your first payment is when the trial ends. In the trial's last two days, Stripe needs a little longer, so the first payment is about two days after you subscribe.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each month or year, and the same card is charged, until you cancel.
- Switching plans. You can move between monthly and yearly from Manage subscription on the Account page. The change applies straight away, and the charge is adjusted for the time left in your current period.
- Cancelling. Cancel anytime from Manage subscription. Plus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your saved plans and dishes stay.
- Refunds. Payments already made aren't refunded part-way through a period. If you were charged by mistake, email us and we'll put it right.
- Failed payments. If a renewal doesn't go through, Stripe tries the card again and you keep Plus for 7 days. After that Plus pauses until the card is updated.
- Deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels the subscription straight away, with no further payments. To keep Plus to the end of the period, cancel first and delete the account later.
- Price changes. If the price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you'd like.
Changes
Groci keeps improving, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll update this page and, for Plus subscribers, email you before the change applies.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Groci accurate and available, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be error-free. As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have under Singapore law that can't be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
